Glossary Term: MOU

In a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU), all parties set out their intentions and agree on the ‘rules of the game’. Formalizing arrangements in this way can help the various parties to avoid misunderstandings, clarify roles and responsibilities, and agree in advance on how they will resolve any conflicts (Source here).
